Ever since I watched the IBM technician in high school, I captured the passion for hardware and troubleshooting. I knew I was focused in when I built my first computer from scratch and when it turned on and worked, it was like magic. This drove me to tear through as many books and courses teaching me hardware and troubleshooting. I next moved directly into networking. And it was here I learned truly how much there is to learn.

This passion led me to architect and improve the IT health of the companies I work for. Working closely with vendors ensuring the company received true value and superior customer service was another of my key roles. In addition keeping the companies secure and up and running with nearly zero downtime is the cornerstone of my career. My patience teaching employees and seeing people completely comprehend their computer education was also very rewarding. Most gratifying was teaching our company owner and administrator who did not know how to operate a computer to both understand and be completely skilled after my training. No one else had the patience or persistence to get through to her. This was such a proud and satisfying moment that makes me love my job.

I am committed to being the resource to the people who count on me and one of my professional motto's is “If I can’t help you resolve your issue, I will find you the answer or find someone who can”.

Passion, focus, intensity, curiosity and being fiercely loyal are all characteristics that have enabled me to achieve success inside and outside the office.

When not working I enjoy collecting stamps, deep sea fishing, taking long walks with my wife and sometimes yell at my favorite athletes on the TV who can’t hear me.

So now, in my industry this passion remains with me. There is certainly so much to learn and many problems to solve. For this I am grateful.
